New Business Development Representative

Tradesmen.ca is poised to expand quickly and we are seeking highly motivated, imaginative, persuasive and self confident individuals to join our team as full-time Business Development Managers in Windsor, Sarnia, London, Kitchener/Waterloo and theGTA. While extensively tested and proven, this is still very much a ground floor opportunity for people who understand media sales and the potential of a high-commissioned position. Leading edge training, a Draw against commission and continued in-field support will result in selected candidates tracking on an annual six figure income within the first quarter.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for agreed upon individual goals
  • Exceed goals in the pursuit of substantial bonuses
  • Call on all supplied leads in person to generate appointments and close sales
  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate large contracts
  • Complete contracts and additional forms as needed and collect payment
  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Manage and track sales activity daily throughCRMand database management
  • Manage and retain existing business, prepare reports, evaluate markets
  • Participate in networking venues and tradeshows as needed
  • Communicate regularly and suggest areas for improvement
  • Regularly attend sales meetings, teleconferences
  • Able to successfully work from home

Requirements:

  • Ability to make cold calls with leads supplied
  • Ability to travel daily within a 1 hour radius
  • Valid drivers licence with a reliable, insured, presentable vehicle
  • Home computer/fax/internet, cellular phone
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, 2nd language(s) an asset
  • Business casual dress
  • 2-5 years B2B, digital, advertising, media sales and or Home Service Industry experience an asset
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit and a Strong Desire to Win are Essential
